Lancaster High School Seniors to Graduate on June 5

 
Lancaster, TX/Lancaster ISD – Lancaster High School will hold its commencement ceremony for the Class of 2017 at the University of Texas at Arlington College Park Center Arena located at 600 S. Center St. Arlington, TX on Monday, June 5.
This year’s ceremony will feature a welcome address from Student Body President Catherine Johns, a choir and band performance featuring graduating seniors, and formal addresses given by the class Salutatorian Kaevyn Maple and Valedictorian Esmeralda Valdez.
More than 90 percent of the class has been accepted into a college university, trade school or documented post high school graduation plans and collectively the students have received more than $11 million dollars in scholarships and grants.
The class of 2017 will be the largest group in school history to graduate with 426 students. Listed below are the top ten seniors who will lead their peers across the stage to receive their diploma:

4. Sandra Mendez
5. Jesus Vela
6. Brittany Moore
7. Michelle Rodriguez
8. Majesty Collins
9. Ariana Dewberry
10. Clarissa Singleton

The graduation ceremony is a ticketed event, but family, friends and community members unable to attend will have the option to watch the ceremony live online via the district website homepage.
